Achievement vs. Success

When refering to this card in a same context where 'Failure' is also being referred, people sometimes say 'Success' instead of 'Achievement'. It such context it seems that Success would feel more natural because it is the common opposite of Failure. Yet:

  • the term 'success' points towards a more definitive perception of achievement, as when a game level is finished. It is not so interesting to refer to each small positive reinforcement such as picking coins in Super Mario or rings in Sonic.
  • There is no reason for this card ('Achievement') and 'Failure' to be seen as 'opposite', although they may act as such in many games.

So we still believe 'Achievement' is a better name. Nevertheless, for the sake of usability, we are including a page called Success that redirects to Achievement. ValterAlves 13:25, 1 July 2011 (WEST)
